The Gilt Trip with Raymond Lauchengco | Live Zoom Class - June 26 | Saturday | 2-430pm

gilt /gilt’/ adj gilded; gold colored | n gold or gold-colored substance used to gild a surface

Here's a gilt trip that's actually fun!

In this three-hour workshop with Raymond Lauchengco, you will learn the basics of leafing using composite gold and silver leaf.

From prepping your surface to finishing, let Raymond guide you through the steps as you work on two projects during the class, exploring both rough and smooth surface textures.

In your kit are the materials you will need to complete your projects—an oyster catch-all tray and picture frame—with extra material for future projects (because after this class, we’re sure you’ll be gilt tripping!).

Signing up for this workshop gives you access to a private online group moderated by Raymond, where you can show your work, ask questions, and exchange notes with fellow gilding enthusiasts!

Fees indicated are for one (1) person.

Need a kit? Cut-off for non-NCR participants is June 16. NCR cut-off is June 23.
