Natural Soothing Balms with Mia Lauchengco | Live Zoom or Face-to-Face - June 25 | Saturday | 10am-1230pm

This class is now available with a face-to-face option in Alabang, Muntinlupa. Exact details to be provided once participation is confirmed. 

Through the years, our balms have been referred to as ‘miracle’ balms—and we want you to let you in on how we make our vapor rubs, soothing balms, and lip balms!

In this class, we will make:

• two (2) 80g jars of muscle relief balm
• two (2) 80g jars of skin soothing balm
• five (5) lip balms

You will learn:

• the benefits of the different ingredients we will be using for our balms
• the roles these ingredients play in contributing to the balms’ physical properties
• how to formulate your own balms and salves
• balm ingredient substitutions and their benefits

After the class you will:

• get a copy of our info booklet
• have access to our private Facebook group for post-workshop questions

For Face-to-Face participants:  The workshop fee includes materials indicated in the 'Materials Only' list below. Tools and equipment will be made available for use during the workshop. Individually-packed snacks will be provided.

For Zoom participants: The kit is an optional add-on. You may choose to simply Zoom in and join the discussion and source your own materials (see list below, our recommended supplier is islas-aromatics.com), or purchase a kit from us.

Our ‘Materials Only’ kit includes:

• 250ml Virgin Coconut Oil
• 250ml La Espanola pure Olive Oil
• 100g beeswax
• three (3) 5g bottles of essential oil blends
• four (4) 80g glass jars
• five (5) 10g lip balm tubes
• Sanicare baby wipes and tissue

Our ‘Tools & Materials’ kit includes everything in the ‘Materials Only’ kit, plus:

• Digital weighing scale
• Portable electric heating plate for melting your wax*
• Spatula
• Stainless steel pitcher (500ml)

*An alternative would be a double boiler/bain marie setup; please click here for instructions. Our tools and materials will come in handy if you take our candle class!
